Advanced Toxin, Advanced Dermal Filler and Belkyra (Partnership with Seamless Health and MedAesthetics Training)
February 23 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm$2200
Limited enrolment to ensure small instructor to student ratio.
This class will be a rare Canadian training offered by fabulous Jessica Manges ARNP @injectorjess.
The Advanced Injection Technique training course is designed as a one-day course for Physicians (MD), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Registered Nurses (RN) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) who are licensed in Ontario, Canada. Others may attend, but are unable to inject clients during the hands on portion of the class. This course includes both a didactic and hands-on training session and attendees will receive a Certificate of Training upon completion of the course. As this is an Advanced Techniques course, a thorough knowledge of Botulinum toxin and dermal filler products is necessary before attending this course. No prior experience with Belkyra® is necessary.
The Advanced Injection Technique course expands the uses for neuromodulators and dermal fillers, while showing how these products can work together to produce successful results for your clients. The course will cover multiple injection techniques. The advanced procedures include treatment of radial lip lines, advanced brow lift, combination brow lift, eye treatment (tear troughs), neck rejuvenation, treatment of the chin and jaw area, nose augmentation, temporal treatments, mid-face volumization, earlobe augmentation and hand rejuvenation.
Belkyra® (deoxycholic acid) injections are used to contour and improve the appearance of submental fullness. You will learn the ideal submental profile, the characteristics of submental fullness and how to customize this procedure to your clients’ aesthetic goals. Utilizing Allergan’s suggested protocol, you will learn the proper dosing and administration techniques. This includes evaluating and identifying the appropriate client, following the pre-treatment regimen, treatment markings and grid, preparing syringes and selecting the correct Belkyra® dosage amount, performing Belkyra® injections and following post-treatment recommendations.
The products provided by Seamless Health and MedAesthetics for the hands-on training session are Belkyra®, Xeomin®, Belotero®,and Radiesse®.
After the didactic portion, you will gain experience performing advanced procedures during the clinical hands-on training session. You will sit down with your model, go over history and consent forms, conduct a skin analysis while understanding what outcome the model would like. The supervising instructors will assist in determining the appropriate type and amount of product and supervise all injections. The exact product used will be dependent on the needs and wants of the model.
The models provided by Seamless Health will receive advanced procedures, but we cannot guarantee a certain procedure (because we follow the needs and wants of the model).
*If there is a particular advanced procedure you would like to learn, please bring your own model to ensure you receive hands-on training with this procedure. (Register them in the model portal).
**Non-surgical Nose jobs will be discussed in the didactic portion but will not be demonstrated or practiced during the hands on training due to risk. If you desire, we can arrange supplemental training at your facility in the future for an additional fee.
Attendees will receive reference materials to review prior to the course as well as consent forms, history forms, a PDF and printed booklet of the Advanced Injection Technique course presentation. The reference materials and PDF of the presentation will be emailed approximately 14 days prior to the course date and once payment has been made in full. The presentation booklet will be handed out to attendees at the course. After successfully completing the course attendees receive an official “Certificate of Training – Advanced Injection Techniques”.
Space is limited.
