BLS + ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) for Providers

The Heart and Stroke – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course is designed to teach the skills needed to assess and administer care within the first 10 minutes of an adult cardiac arrest. Independent practice & Medical aesthetics are rapidly growing fields. It is extremely important that those practicing in the field are properly educated, trained and regulated to ensure patient safety. All medical directors and MD/NP/RN/RPN clinic owners should have their ACLS and know how to act in the event of an emergency. Your interest in a solid foundation for safety demonstrates dedication to expanding your knowledge and skills, achieving optimal results and promoting patient safety. In this course providers learn the skills needed to manage advanced cardiac life support scenarios: respiratory emergency, various types of cardiac arrest (simple VT/VF, complex VT/VF, PEA (Pulseless Electrical Activity) and asystole), pre-arrest emergencies: stable and unstable bradycardia and tachycardia, acute coronary syndromes and stroke. It is of utmost importance to stay current with these skills if you are working in a surgical environment or are a healthcare professional running your own practice.
